1995
With the founding of Lapp Logistics Ltd. in Singapore, the Lapp Group takes the final step toward becoming a global player. Takeovers, joint ventures and the founding of new companies are carried out in Indonesia, Korea and India. The commitment in China began in 1999 with the establishment of an agency office in Shanghai, which was followed in 2002 by a second office in Peking. Finally, in 2003 the company founded the first sales company of its own in China in Waigaoquiao, the free-trade zone of Shanghai.

2005
The company's first wholly-owned production company for screwed cable glands is founded in Shanghai.
